Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday claimed that the central government has been “100 per cent failure” in tackling problems like inflation and unemployment, even as some people visit Ayodhya and offer prayers.
Priority is being given to the issue of Pawar told the media in Kolhapur that going to Ayodhya is not a national issue.
The NCP chief alleged that he has not come across a single case in which the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted raids against those involved in the central government, but action is being taken against those in the opposition.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, who has courted controversy by calling for removal of loudspeakers from mosques, had recently said that he would visit Ayodhya on June 5 to seek the blessings of Lord Ram.
Let us inform that Maharashtra Tourism Minister and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray had also earlier said that he would visit Ayodhya.
Pawar said that instead of focusing on issues like inflation, unemployment and law and order, priority is being given to matters like visiting Ayodhya and offering prayers.
He said that the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assured the people about the issues like inflation and unemployment after coming to power in 2014, but the government has been “100 per cent unsuccessful” in dealing with them and people have failed in due time. But he will make up for it.
