Rani Kamlapati Railway Station PM Modi Inaugurated India’s First World Class Railway Station


Rani Kamlapati Railway Station: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal.

Today, India is making record investments in building modern infrastructure.

Rani kamlapati Railway Station: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Habibganj railway station (now Rani Kamlapati railway station) in Bhopal on 15 November. 

This is the first World Class Railway Station in India. 

Habibganj railway station is the first station to be built in PPP mode. 

This terminal has been built at a cost of about Rs 100 crore. 

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was also present on the occasion. 

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan thanked PM Modi for naming the station after Rani Kamalapati.

Thousands of passengers will be benefited- PM Modi

while PM Modi said that, ‘Not only has this historic railway station of Bhopal been rejuvenated, but its importance has increased even more with the addition of the name of Kamalapati ji, the queen of Ginnaurgarh. 

This will directly benefit thousands of passengers. The Prime Minister said that people had even given up hope of changing the situation. 

But when the country sincerely mobilizes for the fulfillment of its resolutions, then reforms, changes take place. We have been seeing this continuously since last years. 

Today the country’s first ISO certified, country’s first PPP model based railway station has been dedicated to the country as Rani Kamalapati Railway Station. 

The facilities which were once available in the airport are now being found in the railway station.

The congestion at the station, the mess, the tension of hours waiting for the train, the inconvenience of sitting and eating at the station, the concern of safety and the fear of an accident kept running in the mind simultaneously.

But if you want to see how India is changing, how dreams can come true, then today Indian Railways is becoming a great example of this. He said that today India is making record investments for building modern infrastructure. 

It has also been ensured that projects are not delayed. PM GatiShakti – National Master Plan, started recently, will help the country in the fulfillment of this resolve.

Earlier, when the railway was used for tourism, it was confined to a premium club. But now for the first time, the common man is being given the divine experience of tourism and pilgrimage places at a reasonable amount. 

The Ramayana circuit train is one such effort. Indian Railways is not only a medium to connect distances, but it is also becoming an important medium to connect the country’s culture, country’s tourism and pilgrimage.

For the first time after so many decades of independence, this potential of Indian Railways is being explored on such a large scale.

Special attention was placed in service facilities

equipped with modern facilities Railway Station is 100 percent divyanga friendly. It has eight lifts and 12 escalators for the convenience of the passengers. 

Not only this, for the first time, 3 travellers have also been installed on the lines of the airport. Through this, passengers will be able to walk comfortably. 

Apart from this, 2 subways with ramps have been built outside the station. Along with this, passengers can also avail the facility of AC retiring room and dormitory. 

Separate men’s and women’s lounges and VIP lounges have also been set up for women and men. 

It is known that Rani Kamalapati was the last Hindu Maharani of Bhopal. Rani Kamalapati was the wife of the Gond king Nizam Shah of Ganaur kingdom. He took water samadhi in defense of self-respect.
