Congress President Sonia Gandhi is unlikely to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday in the National Herald case.
Giving this information, Congress sources said that Sonia Gandhi was summoned by the Directorate to appear before it on June 8 last week.
Sonia Corona got infected after getting the ED’s summon and till now her negative report has not come.
Congress Communications Department chief Randeep Singh Surjewala, while giving information about Sonia Gandhi’s infection, had told that the ED had issued summons against Congress President as well as former President Rahul Gandhi last week and after that Sonia got infected.
He said that despite being infected, Sonia Gandhi will appear before the ED on Wednesday.
Congress sources said that Sonia Gandhi’s negative report of Kovid test has not come so far and she is not fully healthy yet.
He said another date would be sought from the ED to interrogate Sonia.
