Srinagar: The operation of security forces against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir continues all out. The army started a search operation late Friday night in Jadura area of Pulwama and at the same time firing started from the militants.
So far three terrorists have been killed in this joint operation of police and security forces. A severely wounded soldier has died in the hospital. According to the police of Kashmir zone, the identity of the terrorists is unknown and the search operation of the security forces is going on.
Four terrorists were killed on Friday
Earlier on Friday, four militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district, while one surrendered. Shakur Parre, one of the slain terrorists, was a former Jammu Kashmir Police jawan and district commander of the al-Badr organization.
On Friday, security forces reported the presence of militants in Kilura area of the district, after which the search operation was carried out by sieging the area. Meanwhile, indiscriminate firing on the security forces started by the terrorists. Taking immediate action, the security forces stacked four terrorists one by one.
During this, Shoaib Ahmad Bhatt, a resident of Avantipura, surrendered after seeing himself surrounded. The slain terrorists have been identified as Suhail Bhatt, Zubair Nengaru and Shakir-ul-Jabbar.
