SRINAGAR NEWS: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Monday said that pilgrims wishing to undertake the Amarnath Yatra will have to show their Aadhar cards or voluntarily submit them for verification.

This has been said in the notification issued by the General Administration Department, which will be applicable with immediate effect.

Amarnath Yatra will start on 30th June and will end on 11th August.

After the abrogation of Article 370, the duration of the Amarnath Yatra has been cut due to several restrictions implemented in Jammu and Kashmir.

Over 10 lakh pilgrims are estimated to attend the yatra this year.
