UP Budget 2022-23: From Child Service Scheme To 4 Lakh Jobs, Yogi 2.0 Government Made These Big Announcements

Yogi Adityanath -led Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday presented the state budget for 2022-23, which focuses on basic infra, employment generation, youth and women. This is the first budget of the second innings of the UP government. Yogi government has presented a budget of Rs 6 lakh 15 thousand 518 crore 97 lakh. Special attention has been paid to women’s safety in this budget. Along with this, a target has been set to take the state’s GDP to one trillion dollars in the budget. Let us also tell you that after all, what are the important announcements made by UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna in his budget. 

Major announcements made by Yogi government in UP budget 2022-23 

For the children who have lost their parents due to COVID-19, the UP government has launched the UP CM Bal Seva Yojana to support their education and safety. Under this, 2500 rupees are being given to such children per month.

A target has been set to provide 4 lakh jobs in the next 5 years. 

Two crore smartphones/tablets will be distributed in UP in the next 5 years.

Rs 560 crore has been allocated for Ayushman card. 

250 crores has been allocated for Ayushman Bharat scheme.

523.34 crore allocated for the safety of women in the state.

In line with the central government’s target of $5 trillion, the state aims to reach a GDP size of $1 trillion.

Rs 2,100 crore has been earmarked for medical colleges in 14 districts.

897 crore allocated for PM Gati Shakti Yojana.

Rs.1,000 per month allowance for handicapped. Earlier this allowance was Rs 300 per month.

Target to set up 100 incubators and 10,000 startups in the state.

Announcement of Rs 72 crore 50 lakh for establishment of cyber help desk at district level and women empowerment scheme in the state.

Allocation of 10,370 women beats to 2,740 women police personnel in the districts of the state. 

Formation of Women PAC Battalions in Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Badaun for greater participation of women.  

Cricket stadium will be built in Varanasi. 95 crores will be given for this.

A target has been set to establish Khelo India Center in 75 districts of the state. 

300 crores will be spent for Atal Residential School in 18 mandals. 

1000 crore is proposed for minor irrigation scheme. 

15,000 solar pumps will be installed in the financial year 2022-2023. 

Emphasis will be placed on protection and protection of religious places

Safe city scheme will be implemented in Lucknow and Gautam Buddha Nagar.

An increase in the amount of reimbursement by the state government to Asha workers and urban ASHA associates, a budget arrangement of Rs 300 crore is proposed. 

Proposed provision of Rs 100 crore in the State Employees Cashless Medical Scheme for the treatment of incurable diseases of state employees and pensioners.

A provision of Rs 50 crore has been proposed to cover one lakh girls in the state in the age group of 9 to 14 years with both doses of HPV vaccine. 

A provision of Rs 10,547 crore 42 lakh is proposed for the National Rural Health Mission.

620 crores were given for the Prime Minister’s Self-Reliant Swasthya Bharat Yojana. 

Under the Mukhyamantri Gramodyog Rozgar Yojana, in the year 2022-23, a target is to provide employment to 16,000 people by establishing 800 units.

Irrigation Department is expected to get more than 20 thousand crore rupees in the budget.

Under the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, the financial assistance will be increased from 15 thousand to 25 thousand.

There is also talk of making arrangements in the budget for resolutions like distribution of free scooty under Rani Laxmibai Yojana.

A budget of 18500 crores was given for the roads of PWD. 

500 crore budget was received for Kashi Vishwanath Rajghat bridge. 

897 crores were proposed for the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana. 

More than 19,500 crores were proposed to Jal Jeevan Mission in Namami Gange.

A budget of 747 crores has been presented to Kanpur Metro Rail, 597 crores to Agra Metro Rail.

A budget of 100 crores has been proposed for Banaras and Gorakhpur Metro.

1306 crores were given to the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor.
